Black Hops Brewing was founded on the Gold Coast in 2014 and has grown to become one of Australia’s largest independent craft breweries and one of the pioneer’s of Queensland’s craft brewing scene.

At Black Hops, they seriously love good beer! They love making it, they love packaging it, and they especially love drinking it. But most of all, they love that it brings together a community of beer-loving friends.

Black Hops Brewery secured back to back victories in the 2021/22 Craft Cartel consumer survey as Australia’s Best Craft Brewery and Queensland’s top taproom.

In the 2023 GABS Hottest 100, G.O.A.T. clinched #12 solidifying it’s reign as Australia’s greatest Hazy IPA for an impressive fourth consecutive year!

A cool coastal breeze in the golden sunshine, this refreshingly smooth hazy pale ale is like those perfect Aussie days. Gazing out on an aqua blue ocean as the waves greet you in the soft sand, you might find yourself lost in the haze.

Freshly hopped with Mosaic, Amarillo and Eclipse to inspire your senses with notes of tropical fruit and citrus as the sun dips slowly into the sea.

Black Hops G.O.A.T Hazy IPA

G.O.A.T. was first brewed as a small batch, specifically for the 2018 AIBA Awards. Brewed with high expectations & named accordingly, the beer took out a Gold Medal and became a favourite among Black Hops drinkers. This juice bomb features the signature opaque appearance of the style, paired with an explosion of tropical fruit flavours thanks to the generous late addition of Mosaic, Amarillo and El Dorado hops.
