CAPRI Limoncello Spritz
Serve chilled over ice with a slice of lemon and a sprig of mint then sit back, relax and enjoy the refreshing subtle zesty sweetness of the finest Sicilian lemons elevated with a vibrant Spritz and crisp summery finish.
MORE INFOYeah Wine C-Bomb Carbonic Syrah
Shiraz grown on the south facing slopes of the Tassell Park vineyard overlooking our winery. The bunches of handpicked grapes were kept whole, covered in carbon dioxide and sealed with plastic wrap. Left to their own devices for a couple of weeks a magical process called ‘carbonic maceration’ happens. Without access to oxygen, each individual grape berry ferments internally which brings plenty of bright fruity flavours, without extracting a lot of dryness or tannin. The resulting wine is medium bodied, vibrant, juicy and soft, with plenty of berry fruits and an attractive candied edge. Drink now and feel free to throw it in the fridge and chill. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with maximum flavour.
MORE INFOYeah Wine 'Mr Silky Pants' Light Red
Being further north and warmer means that the Syrah we get from Harvey always arrives at the start of harvest; in 2023 it arrived the day before we handpicked our Boyup Brook Viognier. After pressing off enough Viognier for two barrels of white wine, we threw the remaining grapes into a vat of Shiraz and co-fermented them together. Traditionally 3-5% Viognier is be added to Shiraz to add a pretty perfume and stabilise colour; we went super hardcore and added around 35%. The resulting wine is bright, fruit driven and fragrant; lighter bodied and super slurpable, but with a long, silky, serious finish. Feel free to chill and make sure you get your “silky pants” on! Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with maximum flavour.
MORE INFOCAPRI Grapefruit Spritz
Serve chilled over ice with a slice of grapefruit and a sprig of thyme then sit back, relax and enjoy the sweet zesty tang of the finest fresh ruby grapefruits elevated with a vibrant Spritz and crisp summery finish.
MORE INFOYeah Wine Petit Verdot
These little bunches of inky goodness were grown at the Celestial Bay Vineyard in Wilyabrup. This tiny two-barrel batch was gently handled – hand plunged, and basket pressed – before being matured in French oak for sixteen months. Petit Verdot is a variety that packs in a lot of everything – tannin, acid, colour and most importantly flavour! Dark cherry, violets, thyme and graphite, accompany firm tannins and long savoury finish. Built for cold nights, open fireplaces and hearty food! Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with maximum flavour.
MORE INFOYeah Wine Graciano
Handpicked grapes from the Three Hills vineyard in Karridale. Whole berry ferment, gentle hand-plunging, basket pressed and twelve months in French oak. In its Spanish homeland Graciano traditionally appears in blends, but when presented as a single varietal wine it offers plenty of bright forest fruits, aniseed and clove, along with rich tannins and a round lush finish. This is a unique, but delicious wine, vibrant and fruit forward, but with a savoury sophisticated edge. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with maximum flavour.
MORE INFOYeah Wine C-Bomb Savy Sauvignon Blanc
In 2023 we were generously gifted about twenty buckets of handpicked Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc. Whenever we get a windfall we experiment and so we placed the bunches in a bin, filled it with CO2 and sealed it with plastic wrap. This process, called carbonic maceration, is used for red wine, but very rarely for whites. The resulting wine is packed with pungent Sauvignon Blanc flavours, but is also accompanied by plenty of spicey, savoury notes. Limited to twenty dozen, this is a super unique wine that is as delicious as it is interesting. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with maximum flavour.
MORE INFOYeah Wine Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir from the Koomal Creek vineyard in Smithbrook, near Pemberton. Gravelly karri loam soils, cool climate and an immaculate, dry-grown vineyard all contribute to pristine quality grapes. 10% whole bunches added into the ferment which was gently hand-plunged for two weeks; basket pressed and then matured in French oak for twelve months. Berry fruits, hints of exotic spice and a long silky finish all scream class. Proper Pinot, hooray! Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with maximum flavour.
MORE INFOYeah Wine Chardonnay
Chardonnay grown from a mate’s vineyard in the heart of Wilyabrup – this same fruit goes into a couple of well-known wines so we promised we’d keep it source secret. Gently pressed and the cloudy juice fermented in French oak using wild yeast. Matured in barrel for ten months with gentle lees stirring to build weight and texture and then bottled unfined and unfiltered. Bright and vibrant with a core of intense stone fruit, lemon curd and oatmeal. A new French barrel adds a subtle hint of vanilla and creamy weight. Chardonnay done properly; complex, long, intense and most importantly delicious. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with maximum flavour.
MORE INFOYeah Wine The Skin Project Verdelho
This is our ‘orange’ or ‘skin contact’ wine. Made from Verdelho, the white grapes are basically treated as if they’re a red wine – left with their skins for two weeks and hand-plunged twice daily. The resulting wine picks up colour (the slight orange hue), tannin (that dryness on the finish) and interesting flavours (think oolong, ginger and camomile) from this process. Verdelho by nature has high acid (which keeps the wine crisp and fresh) and plenty of juicy, tropical fruit flavours (that make it delicious). This is interesting and textural, but it’s also super fruity and yum. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with maximum flavour.

Madocke Blonde
Our Belgian Style Blonde is refreshing and smooth, boasting a rounded flavour with medium bitterness and subtle fruity notes
One of the most approachable styles, a golden or blonde ale is an easy-drinking beer that is visually appealing. Rounded and smooth, it is a classic beer known for its simplicity. The history of the Blonde ale finds its ancestors in the centuries old traditions of both pale ale and Kölsch. Likely a lighter version of the pale ale, which was brewed through the latter half of the 1800’s and called a dinner or sparkling ale.

Madocke Courtyard Saison
As King Nobel held court, where Reynard’s antics were shared and scrutinized, we hope our Courtyard Saison will unite your Kingdom with those old tales of your childhood mischiefs and frolics. Dry-tasting but full of subtle spicy and funky notes, you’re in for a good story.
Our name Madocke is inspired by the lost story of a Dutch Poet who wrote the famous folkloric tales of ‘Reynard the Fox’ – a clever, cunning, sympathetic hero (who also inspired the likes of Robin Hood!). These stories represent the triumph of craft over brute strength and we think our character-ful beers share the same sentiment. Each beer in the ‘Story Series’ represents a character or moment from the stories and we hope you’ll love the story as much as us!

Madocke Dubbel
With its malty sweetness, low hop bitterness and palet of dark fruit, raisins, prunes and dark caramel, there is no mystery with our Dubbel. The dark ruby colour makes it a robust beer, perfect for any occasion
Though the name is shrouded in mystery, sources say its origin stems from the Trappist Abbey of Westmalle in 1856. Dubbel literally translated means Double, but double of what? Some attribute the name to alcohol content. Others attribute the spread of the style name to the popularity of the beer in the monasteries. The monks originally brewed a lower ABV bruin before creating the higher ABV Dubbels.
MORE INFOMadocke Ginger Cider
The apple cider provides sweetness and acidity that’s perfectly complimented by the spicy and intense ginger. The result? A spectacularly refreshing drop that’s super sessionable. If you’re looking for an alternative to beer, you can stop now.

Berrigan Chardonnay
Our first “natively fermented” wine. Fresh and soft with creamy lemon curd, peach and vanilla flavours.
Have you ever tried a natively fermented wine? What does this even mean?
Natively fermented wine is when the yeast that is naturally found on the grapes in the vineyard are encouraged and utilised by the winemaker to ferment the juice into wine. This can often end up with dirty, unsavoury characters in the wine if done incorrectly, however, we have used all our experience and modern technology to cleanly and successfully ferment our 2022 Chardonnay this year using only the yeast found on the grapes.
Why did we do a native ferment? We did it because we wanted to push the boundaries a little and to bring more complexity and texture to our Chardonnay.
Tasting Notes
Soft and creamy but with a fresh zing of acidity.
White peach, pineapple, nectarine and citrus aromas, intertwined with notes of roasted almonds, brie, vanilla and cream.
*Vegan friendly
MORE INFOCalcannia Riesling
The 2022 vintage in Clare Valley gave exceptional conditions where the average February ripening temperatures were relatively cool. These ideal conditions led to an elevation in varietal characters only seen in truly outstanding vintages. The flavours and aromas produced in vintage 2022 have resulted in a fabulous Riesling.
MORE INFOCalcannia Cabernet Sauvignon
The winter rainfall was light in 2019 vintage and as a result the Clare vineyard had less
ground water during the summer, producing small bunches and berries which gave
increased colour and flavour than previous vintages in this special Cabernet Sauvignon. Our estate grown Clare Valley fruits at peak ripeness were carefully harvested in the cool morning to capture the delicate aromas of the fruit. The grapes were then delivered to the winery where they are transferred cool to the open fermenter. Wines made in traditional open fermenters have a greater abundance of lifted aromatics and a broader fruit spectrum. At the end of the fermentation process the wine was transferred to French and American oak where it matured for close to two years.
Calcannia Sangiovese
The cool conditions of the Clare Valley in vintage 2022 gave exceptional Sangiovese. The gently sloping alluvial soils in our vineyard provide the perfect environment to produce a muscular and fleshy Sangiovese creating varietal characters. This is small batch production at its best.
The Sangiovese grapes were crushed into a small open fermenter and hand plunged to gently extract the flavour from the skins.
With twelve months maturation in American oak barrels this allowed the wine to mature and soften.
Calcannia GSM
The 2021 vintage had a beautifully mild ripening period which led to an elegance andpurity of fruit characters. Our Clare Valley vineyard has sandy loam combined with someclay overlying alluvial sedimentary rocks. Soils with the right balance of clay provide asource of moisture and minerals to the vines as fruit develops. The resulting wine is richand flavoursome with a muscular fleshy character, full of depth and palate length.
Each parcel of fruit was picked at peak maturity, then fermented in small open fermenters. Once the wine has finished fermentation the Grenache and Mataro portions of the wine were transferred to mature oak barrels, to allow the tannins to soften and release their true fruit characters. The Shiraz was stored in tank to hold its youth and vibrancy. Once blended it provides structure to the blend in its youth and longevity for years to come.
Calcannia Grenache
The 2021 vintage in the Clare Valley had perfect ripening conditions with cooler than average temperatures. The long mild ripening period allows for full flavour development with elegance and purity of fruit.
The wine was fermented on skins in an open fermenter for 7 days. Once fermentation was complete the skins were transferred to a press where the remaining concentrated wine was collected. 8 months in seasoned hogs head barrels allowed the fruit flavours to mature while maintaining their vibrancy and aroma.

MORE INFOCalcannia Shiraz
The 2019 Clare Valley vintage saw very dry conditions, accompanied with early spring frosts causing reduced yields. However, the low yielding vines produce grapes with intense colour and rich flavours.
Small batch open ferments were undertaken, open ferments produce the best flavours to a wine. The intensity of flavour from this premium Clare Valley fruit is evident in the glass. Barrel maturation for 24 months gives the softness of tannins and roundness of fruit characters with subtle oak from matured French and American oak.

Willie Smiths Bulmers Norman Cider
Originally hailing from Normandy, France (hence the Norman) it gained popularity as a cider apple thanks to H.P. Bulmer & Co Ltd. who expanded it’s cultivation in Hereford in the early 20th century.
A remarkably bitter and astringent apple, which leads to a beautifully structured and complex cider. With the colour of senescent leaves, this is a most autumnal cider.
Full of tart red berries and bramble fruits with an abundance of dry crunchy tannins. A distinctive cider suited for Sunday brunches, lunches and roasts.
Willie Smiths Yarlington Mill Cider
Yarlington Mill was named so, as the seedling was discovered growing out of a water wheel near the village of Yarlington in the United Kingdom.
A handsome, well behaved tree in the orchard (most cider apple trees aren’t) which in turn makes handsome, well behaved ciders in the shed. Themes of baked and dried fruits, soft caramel notes and fine tannins with a hint of barnyard funk.
Discerning drinking for the deliciously inclined.
Willie Smiths Heritage Blend Cider
A *delicious blend of heritage cider apples – those with a long history of cultivation for cidermaking in the old world countries such as England, France, Spain and Germany.
Diverse in flavours and personality, they are often categorised as either sweets, sharps, bittersharps or bittersweets – according to the balance of sugar, acid and tannins.
Layers of complexities and textures create a well-balanced cider, rich in character and aromatics. It’s golden hue catches the eye with bright toffee apple on the nose. A creamy, layered cider evokative of apple pie and custard finishing with subtle tannin encroaching.
Willie Smiths Wild Cider (keg only)
With this little number, we press the apples and then sit back and let nature do her thing. The naturally occurring yeast on the apples kick off a unique ferment which means no batch of Wild is ever the same – which we love.
That being said, typically Wild display some funky barnyard characters with tartness and a gentle sour edge, finishing fresh.
Small batch only. Get it when you can.
Willie Smiths Traditional Cider
It is debatable what the apples are singing, but the amazing flavour of this cider is indisputable.
Complexity, textured mouth feel and lots of fresh apple flavour are delivered by using a blend of two thirds eating apples and one third heirloom French and English cider apple varieties.
This more traditional cider is perfect for when you’re looking for something different or broadening your cider-drinking horizons.
Willie Smiths Organic Cider
Our original cider, and the one we are famous for. We only use organic apples grown in the Huon Valley to create a balanced cider to suit any occasion.
To create this cloudy, sessionable and refreshing cider we use a mixture of everyday organic eating apples. Each brings their own dance to the party to provide acidity and texture. A small amount of apple juice gives lift & sweetness.
It’s real Tassie cider, grown and made on the farm.
Willie Smiths Bone Dry Cider
As the name suggests, this is our bold, dry and refreshingly crisp cider.
Although we use the same varieties of eating apples as our organic, all the sugar is fermented out allowing this cider to showcase each of the apples’ complex layers in their rawest form.
With an acidic bite that softens into a broad and creamy lingering finish, this one will leave you wanting more.
Goody Goody Tempranillo
